Boasting an impressive height of 2 meters allows you to walk into you’re Crop Protection Cage to tend and harvest your crops or to prune your plants conveniently. The 2 access doors with zippers on both sides giving you ease of use and flexibility. The bottom of the crop cage has a unique extended cloth flap that can be pegged in place or buried in the ground to prevent tiny animals or pests from entering The steel tube frame, plastic connectors and anchoring pegs create a strong stable structure. But is still easy to move around the garden and or take down and store at the end of the season if needed.

I am very pleased with the two Crop protection cages I now have and will later on get another two for our ‘Birdies raised beds. Hopefully the zippers will be strong enough. Wondering will spare joiners be available in the future.

I'm extremely happy with this cover - it fits perfectly over a large raised bed and the two openings (one each long side) are fabulous in allowing me to work on the bed or just leave open during the day for bees to visit the vege flowers.
Very happy that it is so tall too; really pleased with it!!

Bees cannot get in/out which is a problem

I bought this as some critter is eating my veggies. This seems to be good quality and very easy to erect with two people. One person can easily build the frame (if tall enough to reach), but two people were needed to get the mesh over the frame. Definitely could be done with one person, just more effort and tediousness.

The zippers move easily and don’t get caught, the tie downs to secure the net to the frame are plentiful and easy to use. The doors are generous and are 1.5m wide and can be rolled up and tied open (like a tent).

The issue is that I have lots of blueberries and European honeybees pollinate blueberries. The holes in the mesh are too small for honeybees/wasps etc to fit through despite this item being described as pollinators being able to get in and out. Well, the small ones can, but bees cannot pass through. I have decided to open the doors during the day so my blueberries can be pollinated but, yeah, wish I had known ahead of time as I would not have purchased. I’ll be looking into replacing large swathes of the mesh so that bees can get in and out. What a nuisance.

I have included a photo with measurements. Bees can pass through >6 mm hole. The holes in this mesh are oval and the longest diameter is approx 5mm.
